I was normal like everyone till 1989. I lost my mobility and sitting posture after undergoing 3 defective ortho surgeries done in the year 1990. Due to the gross negligence of the surgeon all the surgeries done by him went defective. I had to discontinue my studies. I couldn’t do anything for almost 22 years. Since my childhood I was attracted to film music and I used listen and sing many film songs during my school days. Then I started to learn South Indian classical music properly through renowned gurus Sri Udupi Gopalakrishnan and also from Dr Vidyabhushna in Bengaluru. Music helped me to connect with music legends like Smt S Janaki Amma, Sri S.P Balasubramaniam Sir and Smt Vani Jairam. Interacting with them often helped me to get more confidence and also they encouraged me a lot. I have given 34 vocal concerts so far. I again underwent 3 major and complicated reconstructive surgeries successfully at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore in the year 2013 & 2014 and I could walk and carry out my regular activities.
Despite this I have been collecting desk/table flags directly through the diplomatic missions in our country as well in other countries..Out t93 countries recognised by the United Nations I have successfully collected 164: countries desk flags so far. 7 countries diplomatic missions heads visited our house and given me their country desk flag as their support and encouragement.
